the making of ‘wat blijft’

Ik maak een beeld ter nagedachtenis van Dick Maan en voor zijn vrouw maak ik dit boekje zodat ze thuis ook iets heeft. Het is een beschrijving van het ontwerpproces bestaande uit dagboekaantekeningen, e-mails, schetsen, foto’s van het productieproces. Alles, behalve het gerealiseerde beeld.

AIong with the sculpture I created in memory of Dick Moon, I made this booklet for his wife so that she also has something at home to remember him by. It features a description of the design process, consisting of diary entries, e-mails, sketches and photographs of the production process. All the secondary material on the making of this sculpture was used here, all except the sculpture itself.
